Ermelo GS College campus manager spends day with top achievers

GS College Ermelo campus manager, Ms Andri Steyn, spent a day with disadvantaged school learners who are top achievers in the district last Thursday.

This was a double celebration for the college as it is TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) month during August.

It was also the “bring a learner to work” programme with the focus on female learners during August as it is Women’s Month.

Four academically high performing Grade 12 learners from Lindile Secondary School were invited to spend the day on campus.

They visited the workshops, centre for entrepreneurship and other venues and engaged with the staff, SRC and peer educators. The college wished them and all other Grade 12 learners well with their final examinations and future plans.

Ms Steyn added they invite all learners and the public to contact or visit the campus or college for more information with regard to what TVET colleges can offer.
