Substations still pose a danger for Ermelo residents

Two weeks later this kiosk is still not fixed.

The Highvelder reported on the dangers that substations/kiosk with open doors pose danger to pedestrians.

Mr Mandla Zwane, municipal spokesman, replied that the municipality has appointed a company that will begin fixing and repairing these substations/kiosks as from 21 November.

However, kiosks all over town are still standing with their doors open and are unattended.

Residents left fuming after electricity machines go offline for days

The Highvelder’s enquiry was not answered at the time of going to press.
