Men rob woman in her house in Ermelo

Ermelo Police are investigating an armed robbery after two men had broken into a woman’s house in Jansen Street on Friday, 4 May.

According to the police spokesman, Capt Carla Prinsloo, a 55-year-old woman was asleep when two men broke into the house and woke her at about 8.30pm.

“They demanded money and one of the men fired a shot,” said Capt Prinsloo.

The robbers searched the house and fled with R5 000.
