The acting Mpumalanga chairman of the African National Congress, Mr Mandla Ndlovu, donated furniture to the Nxumalo family in Phumula, Wesselton, on Thursday, 26 July.

Mr Ndlovu was responding to the Thuma Mina Campaign launched by the president of South Africa, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa.

This was also part of Mandela Month celebrations when people around the country were doing good to honour Nelson Mandela, who would have been turning 100 this year.

The Nxumalo family that lives in Ward 5, was identified after their house caught fire in early July.
